The burden of putting together a web site for our Dude! Where's My Hair show sent shivers down my spine. I can't even operate the camera we've owned for 2 years. Initially, I thought it might be easier to stick needles in my eyes than build a web site. Afterall, I just worked on one with a web master for my business and it took 3 months and thousands of dollars But when I went to MyEvent.com and began reading the instructions and performing each of the tasks I found the process to not only be easy, but interesting and fun! I looked forward to working on the site each day. Nothing could have surprised me more.
We love our site and feel it truly reflects the gentle humor and inspiration of our show. Also, we can update it whenever we like with just a few simple steps. We think the addition of the online ticket option will increase our sales and it will definitely make it easier for our registration volunteer. Perhaps the most winning aspect of My Event.com is that when I did encounter a roadblock the one time, I made a call to the support department and an actual human being called me back the same day.
There is an added bonus for us. Our show is more than a show and our merry troupe of performers and crew are a family surrounding our young people with love and support. This site has become a way for us to remain united and proud of our work on the Dude show. The young Dudes can show the site and the photos to their friends and family. It gives them such a sense of strength and power to be able to dazzle and inspire others with their stories.
The site cost is reasonable. The process is so very understandable and doable. And the support is remarkable. Believe me, if I can do it, anyone can.
